Where music & art intertwine
Tres is a live music/art/flower venue located at 726 Telephone Rd. in the historical Tlaquepaque Market Place in Houston's Greater East End. Join us at Tres and you'll think you're in Old San Antone, Austin or Old Mexico....maybe even New Orleans! Under one roof you'll find one-of-a-kind art, flowers, and Texas/Mexico themed gifts and live music events.
The gem of Houston's East End, Tres was founded by three women with a vision: Melinda Hernandez, Patricia Lynn and Cynthia S. Perez in 2014. Through hard work, perseverance and the support of family, friends and the community, Tres has become the go-to-spot for friends to enjoy live music and special poetry and karaoke nights in a refreshing ambiance. The essence of East End cool, Tres is a unique place with Texas Charm and a Texas sized heart! "Bring a friend or share a table and make a new friend" is our motto.
Tres is home base for Grammy nominated duo Sister Sister (Melinda aka Mimi Durango & Patricia aka Patricia Lynn) who perform there once a month. Tres encourages other singer-songwriters to come and share their musical talents and is a strong supporter of Houston's live music scene. Tres also serves as an art gallery displaying the unique art of artist Cynthia Perez.
Tres promotes advocacy for women against violence, a subject very important to the women of Tres, through Latina Women in Music Against Violence, founded by Patricia Lynn of SisterSister. Tres supports social awareness programs and political events.
